PERMA CIRCLE
CYCLE I 2026-2027
THE CLOSING RETREAT

“The closing retreat is part of Cycle I and is not offered separately.”

About This Event

After months of meeting online, the circle comes together in person. Five days, four nights, on an island that moves at its own pace.
The conversations continue, with more room. Guided sessions, mornings of quiet movement, long meals shared together, and time left deliberately open.

SOME OF THE EXPERIENCES

Chosen not as excursions, but as other ways into the same questions.

Hands in clay

A pottery lesson. The conversation slows down while the hands stay busy. Nothing needs to turn out well. Something usually takes shape.

On the water

Four hours along the coast by boat. Distance, sea, no schedule. A different kind of thinking happens from a boat.

A long table

A visit to a local winery. A slow afternoon, good wine, and the kind of conversation that only happens around a table.

About the retreat leader

MICHALIS MANASSAKIS
Founder of Perma Serifos & EMCC Senior Practitioner

Michalis spent twenty years in international shipping, leading teams and offices across highly competitive environments in London and Greece. His professional life involved high-stakes decisions, international teams, demanding schedules and constant uncertainty.

Alongside his career, he developed an interest in the relationship between performance, leadership and wellbeing. With a background in mechanical engineering, an MBA and an MSC in Positive Psychology of Coaching, he combines practical leadership experience with academic study in coaching and positive psychology.

He is an EMCC-accredited Senior Practitioner. He later founded Perma Serifos, bringing his interest in architecture, wellbeing and human connection into a physical space. Perma Circle brings together these different parts of his experience.

His role is to guide the conversations, introduce different perspectives and create an environment in which people can speak openly, listen carefully and learn from one another.
